Broken Cables and Laziness

So I was trying to figure out what was making my overdrive pedal act weird. Turns out one of my instrument cables was broken. I took the pedal to the Guitar Center and tested it out; it actually works fine. So my $10 First Act cable from Walmart has outlasted the $15 "good quality" cable. I think I'll be buying another cheap First Act cable for a replacement. I only had those two cables, and I need two, so I have to get a replacement. I wrote some lyrics for that song I thought up. It's probably gonna be called "Run" or something like that. I'm blasting Dethklok right now and playing with our cat in my room with my sister. Yeah I'm cool. =]

In Which Ordinary Things Conspire Against Me

Hey world. I'm listening to The Patient by Tool right now. Lateralus ftw! Had band practice with Trent and Ken today. Jamaal couldn't show up. We don't have a band name and we don't have any original songs completely ready to go. Ken wrote a song and we started learning it. It's nice, got a bluesy feel to it. His friend Eric was over there too. Eric's a great bassist, better than I am. Oh and my overdrive pedal broke. Suucks. Practice was hard and unrewarding without Jamaal. My fingers hurt. I haven't personally done anything awesome lately. Haven't practiced with the Indians in weeks. God Lateralus is a great album. I need some inspiration or a reason to get off my butt.
